Process
For Dark Lord Day 2018, I developed a series of nine character illustrations and a custom logo that defined the visual identity of the festival. The work explored a bold fusion of history and sci-fi—transforming legendary generals, monks, warriors, and mythical figures into futuristic icons inspired by Tokyo’s neon energy and modern armor design. The characters were used throughout the event, from bottle labels and posters to merchandise and signage, creating a cohesive, immersive world that captured the spirit of the festival through expressive, high-impact visuals.
