Andrew Archer is a visual artist and illustrator originally from Auckland, New Zealand, now based in Melbourne, Australia. He’s known for his bold storytelling, visual experimentation, and a unique ability to turn ideas into rich, expressive narratives. Whether illustrating a campaign, developing a concept, or building an entire world, Andrew brings depth, imagination, and direction to every project.
Drawing from a wide spectrum of influences—including pop culture, fashion, surrealism, and Japanese woodblock prints—his work fuses vibrant colour, layered symbolism, and dynamic linework to spark curiosity and connection. In 2013, he launched Edo Ball, a self-initiated series that reimagines basketball through the lens of Japanese culture. What began as two personal pieces has evolved into a world of 75+ artworks, a published book, custom jerseys, and teamwear—offering a clear example of his ability to shape narrative, brand, and identity through visual design.
